This is a remarkable project/document. Seeing other creatives in their element piques my curiosity…it’s like we’re all tapped into a common source, connected by our creative visions and mannerisms. Seeking. Expressing. Very inspiring. (via The Artists In The World)

Today in our Featured Artist Series, we bring you the one and only Dianna Gendron
BIO:
I’m Dianna, and SOFT/GOLD is a new and EXCITING venture for me. I am a MAKER, a dreamer, a lover, a seeker, and a writer; an avid crafter, a fiend about vintage, a fashion-plate and an italo-phile. Though my degrees are in graphic design and sculpture, I have an obsession with aesthetics across the board. After spending the majority of my 20s galavanting-about in Europe, I’ve decided it’s time to start on a new adventure. I have had the incredible opportunity to set up a studio-space here in Happy Valley, where I have begun to focus on handmade.I am multi-media in my approach to making, a lover of process and materials and unconventional combinations of old/new, this, that & the other. I meld wire-wrapping with woodwork, ceramic elements with metal, leather with paint, toss in some polymer clay, up-cycle vintage, do dying, stamping, embossing, sewing, and knot-making. I make jewelry and soft accessories that are graphic, bold, quirky, dainty or brazen, but always one of a kind, always unique and joyful.

You can check out my blog at <http://aestheticlovestory.blogspot.com/> or bookmark my soon-to-be Etsy: softGOLD. Can’t wait to meet you!
